De
20th edition of the European Grand Prix tournament on Belgian soil wil
be held on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st of July 2011. All required
informations and subscriptions could be found in the sections below.
This tournaments is also the 28th Belgian championship.

Concept
- 11
rounds Swiss system (playing as much as possible against players with
the same number of wins). Clocks will start with 25 minutes for each
player. Saterday we will play 7 rounds, on Sunday the remaining 4.
- Following the Swiss the final (number 1 against
number 2), play-off (number 3 against number 4) and the final of the
Belgian championship (best two Belgians/residents of the Swiss) will be
played.
- If the best Belgian is part of the top four, he/she becomes automatically Belgian champion
- If more than one Belgian is part of the top four, the player with the best position after the finals becomes Belgian champion.
Entree Fee
- 25 euro for advanced / elite - Warm lunch on Saturday included
- 15 euro for beginners and students and unemployed - Warm lunch on Saturday included
- Special prizes for one day participance (7
rounds, half of the prize on Saturday), €3/€6 for participations on
Sunday morning (4 rounds)
- Special family prizes is three or more players from the same household/family (highest two entry fees are taken into account)

The Belgian Othello Associatie will foresee in:

* Trophy for the Belgian champion
* Trophy for beste advanced
* Trophy for beste beginner
* Trophy for beste promising
* Trophy for best tournament performance (Won by Sido Helmes in 2008 and Jiska
Helmes in 2009)
De organisation will foresee several other prizes from local origin (sweets, chocolat, beer, speculaaspasta...)
